- Here's a new site I found the other day:
-
- http://BrainNet.com
-
- They call it high tech products with an attitude.<G> Prices looked real
- good. I email them about some things we need that they didn't have listed.
- They have plans for a site that will have 10,000 products you can access
- through a search engine. It sounds like a great way to check competitive
- prices. This is a site to check back every couple of weeks.
-
- Even though their prices are low, and they are only listing a portion of
- what is available, I saw only top brand name items. In fact, they have
- some really good deals on some very high end stuff (I wish I could afford
- it). Like 21 inch monitors, fast scsi drives and caching controllers,
- Voyager video cards and high end memory chips.
-
- And they also have something I never heard of before. It's a box that
- protects modems and telephones from surges on the phone lines. Nothing
- unique there. But it does it with fiber optics so there is no physical
- electrical connection. It's the first I've heard of this. I ordered one
- cause our modem just got fried for the third time last week.
